Beta
Join the beta
Three apps of the Expert Bioprocess Designer Suite are open to invited testers. They run in the browser, and they're free during the beta.
In the beta
Expert Buffer Designer
Design one buffer from first principles: what to weigh out, the pH you'll really get, and how it moves with temperature, salt and weighing error.
Expert Solution Operations Designer
Follow one vessel through make, add, titrate and dilute steps, with the pH and the composition after every one.
Expert Bioreactor Designer
Simulate a CHO culture with its feeds and its DO and pH control, and see which limit binds first — and when.
Who it's for
Scientists and engineers in process development, MSAT, formulation, and upstream and downstream processing — people with a real question for one of these apps, who will tell us plainly what's wrong.
What we ask
- Use it on a real question from your own work.
- Tell us what didn't work. Send feedback, in the app's menu, opens an email with the app and its version already filled in.
- Expect things to change as we fix what you find.
How to join
Email us for an invitation. Tell us who you are, which apps you'd like to test and what for, and the Google address you'll sign in with. We'll reply with the link.
If the link doesn't open your email app, write to the address above with the subject “Beta invitation request”.
Beta — for research and education only. Not for GMP or release decisions.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, for the whole beta.
What happens after the beta?
The suite opens to everyone, and each app will start with a free trial. We'll tell beta testers before anything changes.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser, and you sign in with Google. A laptop or desktop screen works best.
Where does my work go?
Into your own private workspace, on our server in the United States. We delete your account and everything saved under it if you ask. The app shows its privacy policy and terms before you sign in.
Is this the Expert Buffer Designer I already use?
It's its successor, rebuilt on the suite's engine. The original still runs as Expert Buffer Designer Classic.
