Subscription and refund terms

These terms cover paid plans for the apps of the Expert Bioprocess Designer Suite, sold by Bioprocess Tools LLC. Prices are on our pricing page.

1. Who you're buying from

Our order process is run by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues receipts and invoices, and handles refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms.

2. Free trials

Each app has a 30-day free trial for each account. A trial needs no payment details and is never charged. When it ends, the app stops opening until you subscribe.

3. Subscriptions and renewal

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, per user. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. We'll email you before an annual plan renews.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel any time, from the link in your receipt or by emailing support@bioprocess-tools.com. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

5. Refunds

14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, monthly or annual, and we'll refund it in full.
Annual renewals. If an annual plan renews and you didn't mean to keep it, ask within 14 days of the renewal and we'll refund that renewal in full.
Monthly renewals aren't refunded, but you can cancel any time and won't be charged again.
If we let you down. If an app you pay for is unavailable for an extended time through our fault, tell us and we'll refund or credit the time you lost.

To ask for a refund, email support@bioprocess-tools.com from the address you signed up with, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law where you live.

6. Price changes

If we change a price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you. A new price never applies in the middle of a period you've already paid for.
