Our apps grow out of published work. The buffer-design method behind Expert Buffer Designer is described in BioProcess International, and the open-source NIIMBL–BioPhorum Buffer Stock Blending System behind Expert Buffer Stock Blending Designer is evaluated in the PDA Journal. Natraj Ram and Adharsh Ravi wrote the first; Natraj Ram is lead author of the second.
