From a 1 mL recipe to a 2,000 L batch

Design ≠ manufacture

At the bench, a recipe is a weigh-out. In the plant, it’s:

  • stock blending — combining concentrated stocks into the working buffer
  • inline dilution — hitting final concentration on the fly
  • sequencing & scheduling — many buffers, shared tanks, tight windows

Different problem. Same need for prediction over trial-and-error.

Characterization travels

The good news: the characterization you generated at design time — composition, ions, sensitivity — is exactly what a tech transfer needs. Design it once; the documentation rides along to the plant.
